Honda file

The 1984 GL1200 was the third-generation Gold Wing, with the flat-four bored and stroked out to 1182 cc and fitted with a new frame, hydraulic clutch and self-adjusting hydraulic tappets. Honda offered it as a bare Standard, a faired Interstate and the fully equipped Aspencade with air suspension and audio options. Taller final gearing made it a relaxed, quiet long-distance tourer aimed squarely at the US market.
